“Was a nice hotel, we did happen to be there during a plumbing problem but the staff was kind about it and we just couldn’t t use the showers. It was a one day problem and we only stayed the one night. It might have been bad for someone who needed it but overall it was a great stay.”

“Venimos a Oskalossa una vez al año, y en los años 2018 y 2019, estaba biena secas todo, no solo tuvimos que padecer por la pandemia 2020, sino que 2021 estaba cerrado el comedor, no desayuno pero cobraban igual, la alberca y jacuzzi en "remodelacion", el 2022 abierta la alberca y yacuzzi y vimos todo igual, hoy 2024, otra vez no funcionaba el jacuzzi, en el cuarto no habia el burro de planchar solo la plancha, el cuarto sucio como que no cambiaron las sabanas también, en el baño no habia shampoo...

“It’s a good stay. Nothing spectacular but the staff (probably the owners) were very sweet and nice. I’m not too picky and I felt safe in the area. There weren’t any disturbances and my room was pretty clean. The place certainly looks rustic if I was to comment on it but if you’re looking just for a bed and shower it’s great. They had good but loud AC, a Roku TV, mini fridge, and a microwave. If I travel to Des Moines again by myself, I’ll probably stop here again as the price was good”

“Gorgeous, immaculately clean lake house with tons of space to relax. Lots of bedrooms-perfect for a ladies weekend away. This place is comfortable and nicely decorated. Right on the lake - will be beautiful when the lake is filled after construction is complete. Lots of extras-entertainment in garage, bikes, stocked kitchen with everything you could possible need plus staples, drinks, and an amazing coffee bar. Plush towels in all bathrooms too! “What a jewel this house is - the history and the care in renovating are phenomenal. I slept upstairs and enjoyed it very much. I love all the windows which allow a lot of light into the house. I was surprised how close it was to the street and we did hear some street noise through the night. The coffee bar was wonderful as was the garden which notes all of the flowers that have been planted. I really enjoyed that.”

“What a Joy to stay in this wonderful home! 4 sisters-in-law from the Northwest corner of Iowa traveled to Tulip Time! It was so nice to have such a welcoming home to come to.
