“I recommend this property to anyone! Very quick and easy to book, check in, and check out! It was very clean and the perfect location. Staff was very nice and helpful. I have nothing bad to say at all!We were not sure how our toddlers would be going to the beach for the first time, but they LOVED it here! “Nice house. We love the bay side. The pool was fabulous. The back deck is nicely fenced for kids and dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed. Note that previous comments mentioned no coffee filters…we left a bunch. The only seasonings in the home were salt and pepper. We brought ALL of our own. There were no games/playing cards-we brought all of our own and were glad that we did. The WiFi situation is not good but that did not detract at all from our stay. If you have folks that are...

“This house was all it was listed as on the VACASA webpage. The furniture was in very good shape, the beds comfy, and lots of bathrooms to share with a large group. Part of the gulf view is blocked by another house, but it also sits back far enough so that our steps weren’t underwater when the tide came in. Storms kept us inside half of our stay but would love to return sometime.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very accommodating for the age range of our family (7-67). There were some small shops and places to eat within walking distance. We could step right outside the door to the pool or take a little walk to the beach. Very clean and hosts were accommodating. Definitely would stay here again. ”

“The unit was EXACTLY as advertised, even down to the kitchen towels and fridge magnets. It was the perfect central location, on the beach, but just a short walk to ice cream. Extremely clean, and very welcoming. Loved every minute. If I had to have a negative, they only give 1 roll of tissue per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. We have two toddlers, so these didn't last long. But the little grocery store on the island has both for cheap when we ran out. ”

“We took our girls and a few of their friends down for a few days to celebrate summer. We had a great time. We loved that we didn’t have to worry about traffic or overcrowded tourists. The girls could come and go to the beach as a group and we didn’t have to worry. We had some rough weather and the AC went out but the host handled it quickly for us and the girls were able to play games and wait out the storm. Loved that we could take our dog to the beach as well. It just added to the fun. ”

“Another excellent stay at Tidal Wave! Every type of water our group could want, easily accessible—pool, lagoon, bay beach, gulf beach. Several spacious rooms to retreat to, as well as places to gather. The giant sectional is the stuff of legends. The addition of a second fridge this year made keeping our forever hungry and thirsty kids happy a breeze. Looking forward to our next visit!”
