“Clean room, no parking”

“The room was quiet and clean. The exterior property is in need of clean up. Lots of piles of stuff. I believe they are in the process of cleaning it up. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If they get the place cleaned up on the exterior it would be very nice. Needs some work. In a pinch it was fine.”

“We love this place! We have stayed here four or five years in a row now for our annual golf outing. Tons of wildlife can be viewed in every direction from the house. This year, we saw a coyote and some interesting flocks of birds. Will stay again for sure! Thank you Elena and Stephen!”

This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town.
