“Overall, the hotel seemed to be poorly managed. The room key pad's battery was dead and we were not able to re-access the room after our belongings were inside. The front desk staff member, Matt, was very helpful but was not fully trained on the procedure to unlock the door. Due to his tenacity and dedication to helping, he was able to gain access after much effort. In the morning, breakfast was delay by 20-25 minutes. “Upon arriving we were assigned a room on the second floor. The stair going up was filthy! Then they changed us to the main level upon seeing I was disabled after we climbed the stairs. So the air conditioner was broke. We both had medical devices that required electricity. None of the receptacles on the bed side worked. We had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the beds in order to reach receptacles on the oither side and we had to pull the table over to us to put our machines...

“I would highly recommend staying here! Jim was super communicative, updating me as to the changing landscaping projects that may affect my stay. He also was available by phone when I had issues connecting to the Wi-Fi.The house itself was lovely. There was everything anyone could want for a family, fun weekend games of grill, etc..”

“We had the idea that electricity was available thru solar panels but it never charged or worked the whole time. Told the owner and he didn't do anything about it. Left our shower stuff in his shower and he wouldn't let us get it back from there. Got stuck in the drive the first day when he said it was cleared for ALL vehicles. ”

“This was a great place to say as we were going to Ferris State for orientation. The school is literally 4 miles away. The property was easy to fine and check in was a breeze. My dogs loved it as did my family. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. It was quiet, clean and cozy. The perfect little cabin. ”
