“This place is amazing! The host was so easy to work with. Our grandchildren wanted us to buy this house so we could continue coming back! We never needed to leave and look for attractions or something to do. Every bedroom room was so roomy and comfy. The master bath is something you want all your quests to experience. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook amazing meals. The basement and the garage space was filled with tons of activities for every age. Thank you for a most memorable...

“The house was big enough for my family of 6. The yard was great for my children to run around and for us to sit around the fire at night. The theater room was nice for my children to hang out in. The game room was nice to play pool in but unfortunately the darts for the dart board were in sad shape so we couldn't utilize that. The home gym was nice to workout in. Unfortunately we walked into ants all over the kitchen pantry and on the counters. We contacted the host (company) right away and they...

“The Barge Inn was exactly what our family needed for a weekend getaway. The river was great for boating, tubing, paddleboarding, fishing and swimming. Our family enjoyed some bucket golf on the lawn, the beautiful views and lots of space for everyone indoors. A gem of a spot—thanks for being a great host of this beautiful property!”

“This was a great stay for a family reunion. Lots of spaces for folks to gather and still have their own space, and the owner was very responsive to any outreach. It is an older historic home, with all the old-home feeling that goes with it - we found it charming, but be prepared for a few”

“There was plenty of space for our group of 7 educators. The only gathering place lacking was sufficient dining space (we could not all sit at tables for team dinners). The home was tidy and amply supplied. Theee members of the group, however, suffered from pretty severe allergies while staying at the property. The check in and check out process was easy. The host was gracious and helpful.”

“Captain's Cabin was the perfect place to stay for our three day Burbon Trail experience. The location is central and the cabin is very well equipped. It is also decorated with historical period pieces that take you back in time. The back porch is nice for an evening of playing cards and enjoying a bottle of wine. Tammy and Jan were most wonderful hosts. Tammy makes a delicious breakfast to begin your day too! I have already shared this spot with my family and friends for their future rentals.”

“You’re right in the heart of NuLu- which is great! So many things to do!
Except you’ll be too tired to do anything.
The rooms are nicely renovated, and the bed is actually comfortable. Great pillows. Great AC! This particular room should have been soundproofed though.
My room was right.above.the.bar.
Not great.
It’s Sunday night, past 3 am and the music is still blaring. I could get past that if it wasn’t for the garbage truck that just crashed into the dumpster with the annoying beeps to...

“This historic cabin is one of the best rentals ever. Agility is needed for the stairs to the second floor, but the stairs were easily managed by us -- who are people of a certain age. The bucolic setting makes this place a welcome respite from the fast-paced life beyond the gates.”
