“It is the Best Available Option, pet friendly near to Porcupine State Park. Very convenient if you plan to hike the park. Room was clean and has a good size, beds are very comfortable. Bathroom clean, towels good quality. I will return to this hotel if I come to this area again. ”

Getting there was easy, and the instructions were clear. If you're looking for "fancy" accommodations, you really won't find them in this area - keep in mind that these are simple houses originally built to house miners and their families. “If you’re looking for a cozy, comfortable, relaxing getaway, this is the place for you. From the start Heidi and Gary were incredibly helpful and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Heidi welcomed us with the best banana bread I’ve ever had and Gary ensured we could brave the snow by clearing the parking lot for us. It was the perfect getaway. I highly recommend staying w them, we will absolutely be returning in the future :)”

“My wife and I had a great stay at this little cabin. The location is great- right across the street from the big lake, minutes to the Porkies, and a short drive into Ontonagon. The cabin itself is nice and cozy; perfect for a couple. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. Hope to stay again!”
