“The property was clean, neighbours were great, bathrooms were well maintained and looked after. Our tent was clean, stocked and comfortable. The ONLY thing I could say was a negative is it's right next to medi helicopter, both nights we were there it woke us up. However, it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay. I just wish I knew in advance because we may have stayed at the Lodges instead of the tent (apparently they couldn't hear it).”

“We only stayed one night but enjoyed each of us having our own room. The cost wasn’t much more than a hotel room. The closeness to the Ark was a plus. Peter responded quickly to my emails. It was an excellent choice for 3 friend.”

“It was interesting and as close to camping as I will probably get. The restrooms were inconvenient for early morning and or late night... Could have used a chamber pot. All and all not bad.”

“This was my first time glamping and that experience was absolutely amazing. I love the space inside and the fact it was air conditioned. Th outside appearance is what got me, looking like house tent. I did not mind the beautiful bathhouse which a short walk from my tent. “We can't say enough of the awesome experience we had with VRBO and staying at Arkstone Retreat! This was actually our first time using VRBO too! Our unit was so clean and had everything you would need to have a relaxing stay. Beds were comfortable and bath was spotless! “The cabin is set up very cute! The loft made it possible for my grandsons to stay with us in the Cabin Cabin. The pullout couch was uncomfortable, but it is being replaced this week so that’s awesome for the next visitor. Miss Judy was wonderful. She provided a very nice cot for one of the boys. “The house was so clean, fully stocked, furnished well with 2 extra mattresses as needed. There were games and dvds for entertainment. The property was well maintained. The host was responsive and communicative for all questions. Would highly recommend! Close to The Ark and some local attractions and shopping center. ”

“Williamstown is an extremely quiet town. Our room was right across from the ice cream parlor. It seems as if the rest of the town closes on Sunday - Wednesday. Not much shopping could be done. As for the room, very clean. However, no access to outside unless you are leaving. No balcony or porch to hang out on. “Train rain near by every hour during the night while we tried to sleep it seemed like and kinda outdated and old features and microwave too high up for any of us to reach to use. Washer and dryer on its last legs shakes and makes horrible noises.”
