“In town for the Blues Festival, awesome experience if you’ve never been. Much better place to land than a hotel or camping! Interior space is nice, exterior space needs cleaning and maintenance. We would not stay here again simply because of the parking situation and the requirement to back out of a long driveway onto a busy road. Not easy to do even with our compact car. Recommend bringing your own cookware as what is provided is scant and old with teflon flaking off.”

“My mom and I stayed here while we were in town for a book signing. It's an old home that has been upgraded, but still feels unique (the floors are beautiful). It's the perfect size for 2-3 people. The heat lamp in the bathroom is great. Nice quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to downtown and the library! Fair warning that the washer and dryer are not free (coin-operated), so if you had a longer stay, be prepared for that! ”

“We had a wonderful, relaxing getaway. We loved the boathouse--cute, quaint, and right on the water. The air conditioning worked well and was a life-saver in the hot, humid weekend weather. The owners were friendly, responsive to questions, and communicated well. No real swimming area at the property (unless you went further out into the lake), but it was a lot of fun to take advantage of the provided kayaks and paddleboards. “We totally enjoyed our stay. Space was perfect for our family. Was a couple holes in the wall downstairs, I am sure you were aware of. No one could connect to Wifi?Just a few things to bring to your attention for further bookings: Ants and spiders in house, hot tub not clean, could use more blankets for bed use, top sheets, maybe a blow dryer available for use. Some interior/exterior work needed. But overall stay was pleasant ”

“We had a wonderful time. The cabin was comfortable and well organized. The view of the lake was amazing. We were in the area to learn more about the Minnesota State School as our dad grew up there but also enjoyed Mall of America and the mill in Fairbault. It was perfectly located between the three locations. We enjoyed dining at the various local restaurants and also cooked on the grill at the cabin. No complaints here!”
