“Requested a refund upon arrival and checking out the room. This place is still very much under renovations in some areas. Construction material very visible and rooms seemingly still being remodeled. The room itself looked new but was extremely pungent. Think glue fumes or heavy cleaner, no idea what but was so strong that we requested a refund as we could not think of remaining in the room for any amount of time.”

“There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Checking in was easy—you get the physical key from a lockbox using a 4-digit code. The place was pristinely clean. The lake view was beautiful, and you can enjoy it from the chairs right by the door, or from inside. My wife and I used the kayaks to explore Fox Lake, and it was a lot of fun. “This was a great place to rent if you have a large family. Having two kitchens was awesome as well as the fenced yard for our dogs. Would highly recommend. The host was very hostesy (which means wonderful)”

“There's on-site maintenance right there when I arrived to make everything easy. Also got a call from Cathy the owner to check in on me. Great time especially at night with the campfire and breeze from the lake. Fun local bar scene as well at Whacky Jacks and also the Timber Steak House”
