“We are over 70 and we did not have a bathroom in our room. I may have read this, but I don’t recall reading it. We would not have rented this room if I’d known it didn’t have a bathroom in the room. Luckily, the room we would have shared the bathroom with was not occupied, but we still had to go out of our room, utilize the bathroom. “Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! We were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. ”

“This is a small property but for us was perfect, 3 adults. Extremely clean, well stocked. House was comfortable. Owner was super with communications and found us an excellent fishing guide that I would highly recommend - New River Gorge Outfitters. The home was close to Pipestem State park and an hour or so from main hiking trails near Fayetteville. Staying in Hinton was perfect for us. Not a lot of restaurants so be sure to bring groceries. There is a Kroger not too far away but we didn't go...

“The cottage is beautiful and located just close enough to everything you need.We came for a few days to see waterfalls and had several within short driving distance. I would highly recommend this clean and quiet little slice of heaven!”
