“Rooms were poorly maintained. Sheets and towels may have been clean, but were stained. Lots of bugs in the rooms. Staff was friendly, but hard to communicate with.”

“We made a last minute booking to get away for a couple nights. So glad we chose this place! Everything was perfect. Hot tub was awesome and so were the sunsets. Stocked kitchen with most tools you’d need to prepare meals. Coffee pod maker with all the pods. We had our small dog with us and the totally fenced in yard was so helpful. 10/10 would stay again.”

“The Pine Grove Cottage is a great escape to enjoy being in the country and fishing a private lake! The inside is clean and beds comfortable! We caught lots of small bass, but my husband lost a couple of big ones. We enjoyed the town if Winnsboro that was close by, good restaurants and shopping! Paula is a great host and helpful through our entire stay!”

“Great place for those who want quiet views plus catch-n-release fishing. Host is friendly and helpful. Nice view of lake with lots of birds. Surrounded by trees with lots of shade. Apartment is above a garage with great views and a table for sitting. A/C works well. Small kitchen has the basics including a stove, sink, refrigerator and of course a coffee maker.”

“The house was great but the lawn needed to be mowed. Walking through tall grass to get into the house was not good. The inside of the house was very clean and neat.”

“This property fits our family perfectly. We rented two paddles boards and used the kayaks provided for water fun. Fishing was wonderful, as we all spent time trying to catch something! The house was comfortable, well equipped kitchen and plenty to keep everyone from the 5 year old to the 66 year old happy. Thank you for sharing your property with us.”

“We had a genuinely wonderful stay and would absolutely return. The property was spotlessly clean, well-stocked, and felt like a real home rather than a rental — thoughtful touches throughout made a big difference. The space itself was comfortable and the location worked out perfectly for us.The only thing worth mentioning: the main living area has large glass doors facing the road and neighboring houses, and there are no curtains or blinds to cover them. It wasn’t a dealbreaker by any means, but...
