“I have pictures of the room. The floor was filthy, sheets and pillow cases looked unchanged and dirty. The room had burn marks around the sink, on tub, toilet, on the table between the beds, and a burn hole on the bedspread so it was smoked in. We asked for non smoking room. There were dead bugs laying around. The toilet paper was rusted and couldn't hold toilet paper. There was part of a roll of toilet paper that had a yellow stain on it like it had gotten wet. “Pecan Cottages was super cute, clean and comfortable. We had the Davey Crockett cottage for our 2 night stay while we were visiting some family we have seen for over 30 years! It was a perfect choice over a standard hotel room. Quaint and cute, the decor was well thought out and strategic. “Timeless Victorian home, well maintained and very welcoming. The owners are very friendly, but not intrusive. Breakfast was delicious, served at our requested time. We appreciated the clawfoot bathtub, the high ceilings and natural woodwork throughout the home. We highly recommend this home for anyone staying in the Paris area.”

“Beautiful property. Cutest little 1 bedroom cottage. 1 twin mattress, 1 toddler matress, 2 full size air mattresses and all the sheets and blankets you need to fit a larger family. Worked great for 2 adults and 4 kids. Neighborhood is quiet and safe, close to food and other necessities. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for allowing us to use your property.”
