“Disappointing. While the hotel is in the process of being extended and refurbished, that did not include the room we stayed in which although spacious and clean was in need of an update. The hanging space and vanity were tiny, especially for such a large room. Eating out options at American River for dinner are extremely limited. Dinner at the hotel was expensive and service not to standard. While the staff were unfailingly polite, helpful and doing their best they were under resourced for...

“Clean room, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Couch was pretty worn and the internet connection didn’t work, but that was probably due to the storm damaging the starlink antenna. A nice place to un-plug, but you’ll need a car as there’s very little nearby.”

The property was extremely dirty, every piece of kitchenware, cutlery, and glassware had to be washed before use. We tried contacting the property the day before our arrival to ask about food options but never received a call back. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work during our stay. Apartment itself had everything needed for both short and long stay. Beautiful location allowed for an amazing sunrise view as advertised. ”
