“We had a great stay at Bek’s Retreat at Mangawhai Heads. The beds were comfortable and the shower was really good. There was everything one needed and it was very peaceful. The host, Annette, was quick to come and help with the TV and she was friendly and easy to get on with. Hope to return in the not too distant future.”

“ The chalets are gorgeous. Beautifully appointed with lovely bathroom products, the towels are divine and the king sized bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and the kitchen is sensational. We loved it here. You can either cook in the kitchen or a short walk to a vast array of foody options”

“Unfortunately, they use Vrbo for bookings and the communication is awful. The reservation link was broken and we got no info about how to access the property. The place clearly hadn’t been cleaned well, as there was rubbish in the bins and stuff left from prior tenants. Also, the ad didn’t state it was in a trailer park or even what the unit number was. We had to find it using the photo only! I certainly would not recommend the unit.”
