“The property was perfect for the 3 of us and 2 friends joined us for thelast 4 day, and there was still plenty of room. The veranda overlooked a small stream with ducks, fish and a moorhen, right on the edge of a nature reserves with very easy access. 2 of the bedrooms had on suite bathrooms, whi h were snug but perfectly adequate. We were very happy with our stay.”

“This is a lovely place to stay. Stuart greeted us on arrival and the Loft was warm and cosy with everything we needed including a basket of treats and eggs for breakfast. “We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!”

“We stayed at Buttercup Cottage for four nights. It is located 5 mins drive from Rye town centre in a quiet, private location with allocated parking. The studio is spacious and the facilities are excellent for self-catering. We also ate twice at Layla's, a turkish restaurant, which is highly recommended. The town gets busy in the holiday season so you may need to book. The cottage also has a very helpful guide for visitors with lots of tips and advice to improve your stay. The shower extractor...
