“Hotel is pretty cool with a lot of history. Our room was huge and very clean. Front desk staff extremely helpful at check in. Years ago I assume they allowed smoking everywhere and you can still smell it in the halls on the 3rd floor. Thankfully you couldn’t detect it in the room. That is the only negative. ”

“This Ramada was packed full of evacuees from the fires raging in Canada. So, they were short on staff and supplies. Easy to understand. However, the hotel is in dire need of a full-time maintenance team. Our ceiling light had several burned-out bulbs in it. The shower fan looked like it would fall from the ceiling any minute as it was hanging by power cords and was not secured in the ceiling. But we were happy to have any room at this point and the breakfast and breakfast team were...

“The pool and hot tub were great. The jets in the hot tub weren't working, but the temperature was perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were disappointed by the breakfast - would have appreciated some protein like hot eggs, bacon or sausage. The room was nice and everything was clean. Lots of parking available. ”

“Only recommendation would be to add two chairs near the window so you can have a view of the Sleeping Giant, marina and Lake Superior.”

“Free breakfast was good and had great selection. Front desk staff was friendly. Our breakfast however did take a while to come out on the second morning and was cold by the time we got it. There was a dog howling on the second morning (possibly thin walls).”

“Everything was great, except for a one minor issue. The coffee pot in our room had no lid, but staff were very attentive to this issue. 24/7 coffee in the breakfast room was wonderful! Early breakfast at 6:30am. Breakfast was amazing! Rooms were very clean and very comfy beds. Hotel is super clean. A special shout out to Pritish who went above and beyond in guest services. He really made us feel very welcome. Overall this place deserves 5 stars in every category!! Would stay here most definitely...
