“We spent 1 night in a “chalet.” It was spacious with a large shared terrace overlooking the mountains. The restaurant food was fine and the service was good. It was ideal staying inside the park and this is a good choice. ”

“Room had no fridge. When I complained they said I was lucky to get room with fridge. Attitude was very bad. I had stayed twice before and have been excellent. This stay was a terrible stay. I will never booking that hotel ever.”

“An ok stay in a very small room, with a cold and a bit smelly toilet . No facilities to cook food, and the walls are very thin, so you can follow anything the neighbours do. The whole street is full of self catering options, so you can find better in the neighbourhood on main street Clarins. Parking is also not good as there is not room for all five cars when full, our neighbour had to be woken up to move his car, if we wanted to go out... a bit of a bother to be honest..”

“Lack of signs and information. Taken to room and left with no times for breakfast and dinner. Room was spacious and clean but tv didn’t work and water pressure was low so poor shower. Nice but not deluxe. Food was good but odd choices. Great wine collection. Quirky place!”

The guest house is also a 3 minute drive from a mall with restaurants and shops, so very conveniently located. Highly recommended for your trip to the Eastern Free State! “Everything was impeccable as a remote guest resort would offer. Extremely cordial staff. Excellent dining experience, with top notch presentation. magnificent views. Guest bedroom had tasteful decor comfortable bed with duvet- nice bonus having electric heat pad to warm the bed on cooler nights. The room was stocked with an assortment of teas coffee and biscotti. Good selection of wine beers & spirits. In the bar areas. Was pleased to discover ther was ad a”
