“Charming miners cottages in the centre of Burra, within easy walking distance to eating & shops. Quiet, spacious, very comfy bed. Being winter the cottages do get cold but heat pump soon fixed that. When we arrived at the front of the cottages a notice on the gate said to check in around the corner at the office on site so we drove around only to find a board propped against a tree saying check in was now via the camp ground along the road. “Very cute and sweet home, lots of history to look and read about, garden is stunning. Bed is comfy, heater and electric fire place a bonus!”

“Beautifull old cottage. No problems really. Maybe fresh milk in the fridge would be helpful.”

“We had no choice as there was no where else in Burra. Previous reviews had complained about a step in a dark corridor and nothing had been done to fix this problem and my partner also missed this step and stumbled. At least some yellow tape on the step would help. The corridors are stacked with old boxes and other bits of junk. You do get what you pay for and the room is simply furnished. At least the room was warm. The meal however was wonderful. Would eat there any time”

“Comfortable stay but feel a RC Air con could be put in dining area to heat main area. Comb. Fire hard to get going and takes too long to heat up the area. Would have preferred a laundry and decent clothes line.”

“The Railway station B&B was an enjoyable relaxing place to stay. It had everything we needed to come and go as we pleased. Lovely and clean. Would happily recommend to anyone wanted to visit Burra.”

“The cottage has a cosy, historical ambiance, set in a beautiful garden. We enjoyed our stay very much. The pub, within walking distance was fantastic too. Our hosts and the locals are warm and friendly. ”

“My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Burra at the Railway Station. Lots to see and do around the area. The Railway Station was very interesting will lots of history. We will defiantly return in the winter months to enjoy the fire. ”
