“Stayed at Wilga Farm Stay for 2 nights as I was working in Collie. Wasn't sure what to expect to be honest as in a year of travelling WA almost every week, I had never considered a Farm Stay. Would have to say that it was simply amazing. I met one of the owners (Brett) and was made to feel welcome. The Cockatoo Cottage was fantastic. View from the porch was amazing. “Overall we were happy with the stay. The house was isolated and in a beautiful spot with the river and valleys. Breathaking views that I will miss. The house is as just listed, not the cleanest or neatest. Main issue is the red dirt road 4-5km to get to the property. Thankfully it was raining the last few days otherwise your car's back windscreen will be covered. If that is not an issue I would recommend this place to you. ”

“The cottage was well separated from the other cottages. The amenities were well appointed with cooking utensils, pots, pans and washing up liquid and drying towels. Everything required was there. There was a good selection of DVDs. The cottages were located amongst the trees on top of a hill overlooking the town of Balingup. a very picturesque setting.”

“The property had everything we were after other than a fireplace but the heating from the large air conditioner was excellent and the under floor heating in the bathroom was really good as it was cold and wet when we visited. The hosts were amazing and stopped and chatted and told us about the property and places to see, we could have our little dog with us, had a fabulous weekend getaway and the views were breathtaking. Thanks Tracey and Michael. ”
