“Our second visit here and it's never long enough. Already booking the next trip. Incredible night sleep with the sounds of the waves just outside the window. The host is fantastic to communicate with. This cottage is quickly becoming our little home away from home - if we need to go to Hobart, I will immediately look to see if Opossum Bay is available.”

“Beautiful little spot and great accommodation. First experience in a tiny home and loved it. Would definitely stay again.”

“Johnnie was a fantastic host. Clear communication and was quick to respond. The property was amazing - the kids had a great time watching the wildlife around the property. Will definitely want to return to this place next time im in Tassie.”

“Such a beautiful accommodation views were stunning!”

“Our family of 6 adults & 2 children stayed at Saltcotes for a week. We all loved it so much even though it was cold. This didnt stop us from even taking a dip. The beach is so close to the home and feels like it is your front yard. The fire was so cozy and there was plenty of room to all spread out and have some space. The children loved the attic with the fairy lights and spent a lot of time up there reading and playing cards. They even slept in there one evening. We were all very sad to leave...

“Overall a lovely place to stay”

“Very nice modern house, love the location & nice quiet beach. We will come back to stay here again.”

“The Accommodation was exactly what we expected.”

“The house was even better than the pictures! Absolutely breathtaking location and beautiful interiors. The beds were extremely comfortable. ”

“Very cosy cottage, that more than catered to our needs. We had a very enjoyable Easter vacation. It was our second visit in three months. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Hazel is very welcoming, and very helpful. It wasn't a drama to extend our stay. My chihuahuas Misha & Kostya enjoyed themselves. Thank you Hazel.”

“We loved everything about this gorgeous house and location and will definitely be back :). Lovely bedding, beautiful kitchen and comfy Loungeroom. Modern and clean bathroom and kitchen. Very very nice. The view and the outdoor areas are just so lovely and peaceful. ”
