“Ken and his staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was stress free. Our needs were anticipated and they were happy to assist us morning, day and evening, even when we were not on the premises. Prior to our arrival Ken arranged airport transportation. “We stayed at the Banyan cottage and it was lovely. Up on a hill, very private. It had screens so no need to worry about bugs. “This i was my second time staying there. This is a family owned property. The service, food, and staff are superb. Infact, they've become like family. It feels like home away from home. Ms. Joan is an excellent and she goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. It's also located on a private beachfront. It very tranquil and peaceful, and off the beaten path. “The new owners were really friendly and full of local knowledge. So was Pascal the taxi driver they arranged to pick us up. But we were also given lots of privacy. The view is amazing from the studio cottage. It was well appointed and comfortable, had good wifi. It could use a memory foam for the bed though. The grounds were clean and the whole Calibishie area is safe. Dominicans are soooo friendly! ”
