“Very satisfied with the accomodations. I am an accomplished bass fisherman. The fishing was disappointing (all catch & release). Of the twenty or so bass I caught, all but one was WELL under 1 lb. Bass pictures seem to be from a while ago. It is as if the DNR stocked the lake with bass fry last spring and now all are around 6" in length. This is not a reflection on your place, but a comment from someone who probably spent 30 hours fishing. We would definitely re-book if there was a decent...

“Beautiful lakehouse! Our stay was wonderful. Everything was very clean, comfortable and felt at home. The deck was so nice, grill was great and outdoor furniture was comfy! Hosts were excellent with communication and accomadating. Would recommend this place for a relaxing vacation! ”

“I needed time off to decompress, and The Wren House offered the perfect antidote. My partner and I canoed. We chatted with the chipmunks. We scoured our bird book for the names of the variety of bird species who visited. We played games, napped and enjoyed cocktails. “This property is kayak heaven. Explored all the connecting lakes and we highly recommend if you love kayaking. So much wildlife several pairs of trumpeter swans, Eastern River Otters, many deer, so many birds, and small critters. Fishing is also good. The property is very secluded. Afternoon kayaking and sunbathing on the deck and nights eating dinner on the deck with family or playing games. Kitchen and the living room open with a beautiful view of the lake.
