“My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. Mr. Maha, the manager was so very helpful, including assisting us to book a hotel in Kandi when it turned out that the place we originally booked was a huge disappointment. He even arranged 2 tuk tuks to take us to the...

“This is an absolute gem for anybody wishing to be pampered and catered for beyond your expectations, eat 5-star meals, and relax! What an amazing place..we will most certainly return!!!!”

“We have been there for two nights and they treat us really well. Food very nice and service of 10. 100% recomendable”

“The hotel was one of the best we visited in Sri Lanka. The rooms are really big, we had three separate bathrooms. When we arrived at the hotel, we were invited to join a traditional welcome ceremony. We asked for a lunch package as we moved to Horton Plains at in the morning - no problem, even a vegetarian alternative was provided. We can truly recommend this place.”

“Nice peaceful location with Good views . Staff is very helpful”

“Estancia fascinante, rodeado de ambiente histórico muy buen conservado y actualizado, en un entorno excepcional ”

“The location of this resort is stunning, just beautiful. The service is superb. The food is amazing. And the cottage itself was tastefully recreated. We enjoyed walking the tea trails - just expect to make an effort on the plantation hills. We also relaxed and enjoyed the hotel every afternoon. They will do anything to make your stay as perfect as possible. It was an ideal stay for us. ”

“Room was large and beds very comfortable. Hot water ran out in the morning so cold shower for friend. Food was varied and tasty at breakfast and evening meal. Lovely bar serving a variety of drinks and cocktails. Staff very friendly and helpful”

“The stray was wonderful.. location is beautiful .”

“Prarthana and the staff was very professional and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast next morning. Views were amazing from our room. Location is beautiful and very conveniently close to the tea lounges and Nuwara Eliya town. Room is very clean and comfortable. ”

The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable, however the sheets, towels and dressing gown were pilled, the curtains didn't go to the end of the window, and a cracked tile in the bathroom had been badly repaired. I also found it difficult to mix the taps in the shower to get the right temperature and there were no instructions on how to operate the heater. All in all I didn't feel the quality of the...

“Cozy ”

“Good spot for a night on the way— simple and clean, with lovely warm service. Probably a bit overpriced but a solid, good option. Food was delicious as well and they accommodated all of our needs.”

“This was a fantastic place to unwind. A vast array of activities in the surrounding nature or a SriLankan cooking lesson which we found was amazingly interesting and tasty!!! A truly luxurious boutique hotel with wonderful staff. The roads in are interesting and we were glad of the SUV we had hired. Over 4 hour drive from Colombo which was indeed stunning. We loved this place.”

“We had a very pleasant stay at Aramya Riverfront Boutique Resort. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and comfortable, and the pool is fantastic. The hotel also has a wonderful setting with great views of the surrounding rainforest. The staff were one of the highlights of our stay. The reception team was incredibly friendly and helpful – when our daughter needed medication, they even arranged it for us free of charge. They also organised a fantastic jungle hike for our family, which we really...
