“This place is beautiful! Whoever decorated-knows what they are doing! We absolutely loved the look and it felt good to feel at home. When we arrived we wandered how we were going to get around town (we could not connect with a taxi driver). The host graciously provided four bikes! What a treat to drive to the end of the road and go along the beach. BEAUTIFUL! So glad that we had bikes to ride. The water in the house however was an issue. It smelled like sulfur. “Exceptionally clean and had absolutely everything I needed for my stay. The coffee setup was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable, and the view of the harbor across the street was such a beautiful thing to wake up to every morning. The property is located off the highway, as other reviews have mentioned, but the hosts provide a white-noise machine. I’m an incredibly light sleeper, and the road noise honestly never kept me awake at all. Everything felt thoughtful, comfortable, and very well...

“Great location, good sized unit. Wish they had a comfy chair. Very loud, not sure if it's the siding or poor insulation. When we checked in we noticed ear plugs on the night stands with sleep masks. Two roadways are next to the building, you can hear every car going by. The doors also are loud slamming. The sleep masks I understood, having lived in Juneau for 10 years, I'm familiar with only a few hours of darkness. The workaround to the loudness of this unit is white noise, like a fan I...

“Pros:This is a beautiful unique house on lush green property. We saw a black bear trapse through the plants near the house. So cool! The design of the house is incredibly unique. Corey welcomed us to the home with a sweet sign, note, beautiful flowers and chocolate. She was very good to communicate with. Cons:If anyone in your group has mobility issues, this is not the house for them. A few of the stairs were lacking sufficient railing, which did not bother our group, but may be a hazard for...

“Weather was a big factor in out stay, as it was a residence, but they had a plow truck plow the berm and driveway, so we could get out, and a shovel to make trail out to my car. Also, when my granddaughter came up from Petersburg, it was easy to add her on to our stay. It worked out really well and we had variables as to whether we were going to have to stay one more day, if we couldn’t get on the ferry until Monday night. They also worked with us, so if we needed to extend one more day, they...
