“I like the pet friendly grassy area in back behind elevator area in side yard, with baggie-poo stand (though I always bring my own) and a trash bin handy. Staff very nice and friendly. Beds and mattresses excellent. My room key was a bit rusty and troublesome, but I worked everytime once I got used to it. All good. Will recommend it.”

“The Ocracoke Harbor Inn is an excellent place to stay. The room was was spotless and the view of the harbor was great. All of the staff that I encountered were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend staying here.”

“The cleanliness, location, and responsiveness of the property manager were great. The location is close to the local general store/market, and the beach. The kitchen amenities allowed us to cook meals and spend more time exploring the island and at the beach. We would stay at this location again if we plan a trip back to the area.”

“The room was not ready when we arrived. I called the front office and after 15 minutes they informed me that the cleaning staff was done and we could go up. After carrying all of our stuff upstairs we saw the cleaning staff still finishing up the room so we waited. 30 minutes later we were finally about to enter the room. Had we been informed that it wouldn’t be ready for another hours ahead of time we wove just the beach.”

“Our hunting crew had a great time in Hyde County for 3 days on the back end of a snow storm. To add to the excitement of great hunts, we had an awesome place to stay. The check in process was straightforward and our host was very communicative. I highly recommend the 784 lodge!”

“Nice little place for two. Spotless, with plenty of quality towels and linens, easy check-in, and entry. Washer/Dryer a big plus. A map to show location of unit would be helpful. The bed was a bit soft for us and a KS would make this place perfect. Great location on the sound. ”
