“Cabin was very clean, welcoming, and well stocked. Bed was very comfortable. Even though there was no kitchen, there is a mini fridge, griddle, and toaster. I did notice hot water ran out quicker than what I'm used to, but I sped up my showers and it was fine. Fire pit with wood supplied was nice and relaxing to sit by. Paved white pine trail running right by the cabin was nice for long walks with my dog. The property is nice and peaceful, easy walk down to the river. Wonderful, peaceful...

Water is pretty intense well water so we brought our own to drink. I would say that is the most inconvenient thing but otherwise a fantastic stay and we will be back! ”

“The proximity to the beach is fantastic, especially early morning sunrise and sunsets. Maintenance was called and arrived within 15 minutes (fix the air conditioner). Being close to the Garden City Pier was an added benefit. We will be back in 2026.”

“This home has so many amenities and is very clean and well taken care of. There was items like aluminum foil and spices as well as coffee to help our stay be even better. Plus the owners are readily available if you have any issues. There was firewood on the property and the hot tub was hot and clean. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and the peaceful surroundings are so relaxing. Will be coming back for sure ”

“Beautiful, historic property in a great location. We especially enjoyed the owner's tasteful decor, which further showed off the authentic pueblo walls and finishes. One tiny warning: Be careful turning on the main bathroom faucet or it will splash you with water. Not a big deal--we got used to it! The owner really went the extra mile to include information on the house and to leave plenty of reading material on historic Taos. ”

“Clean, newly redecorated, cozy with a wonderful view. Because it was rainy and cold, we weren’t able to enjoy the deck or the kayaks or paddle boat. But it’s so cozy that we found the view all we needed. Visit ‘Hit The Road Joe’! It’s a little quirky, cash only, but man is the food good! We went for 3 different meals in our 2 night stay, including the wood fired pizza Friday.One tip: if you enjoy reading, take a little reading lamp - the light in the bedroom and living room isn’t conducive,...
