“Fantastic hotel. The only one in Monrovia with good standards. Good selection of food and truly great breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and the pool area was fantastic for relaxation. Gym had almost everything, although the humid climate leaves traces on the weights. Staff were attentive, friendly and even helped getting prices down when shopping for some souvenirs across the street. “Bamboo Beach Resort is a wonderful gem for a relaxing getaway! I thoroughly enjoyed the stunning beach views—waking up to the sound of waves and watching sunsets from my balcony was pure bliss. The atmosphere by the pool was equally inviting, with upbeat (but not overpowering) music that added a lively yet laid-back vibe to the afternoons. “Staying at Miss Emily's Place is like staying at a friend's house. The owner, Annette, is charming and ever so helpful. In fact, she goes out of her way to make your stay in her city enjoyable. Her staff is very helpful too. The property is close to transport and a couple of local bars. My room was comfortable and clean and it had air conditioning. I really enjoyed my stay with Annette and Miss Emily's Place. In fact, a traveller I met weeks later had stayed there too. A great find. ”

Host INSISTED me to pay for my own cooking fuel and COAL & everything else! Very very penny pitching cheap host that does not know how to conduct a business and customer service 2. To get to the property it was unsafe and very Dark n scary. One had to drive or walk for long American alley blocks to get to the property. 3. The...
