“No hot water. Also, they advertise free shuttle to the airport. When I came down before 7:00 a.m to catch the shuttle, they tried charging me. They would not help me to get a shuttle, and in fact, they put another group in the shuttle before me when I had been waiting. I found the place kind of dirty. It needs some new carpeting and some clean looking towels. This may be one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at.”

“So easy to make a good first impression, and this place failed. Check in was ok, but the room wasnt. No place to put bags, holey bath mat, frayed towels, and no shelf in shower cubical. Also gaps in floor boards and window in bathroom. Pool and dining area was nice, food and drinks okay, but after booking for 5 days we left after 1. The area nearby was lacking.”

“The place looks like it’s been refurbished and it’s terrific. Sea view room(11) is great, close to pool, restaurant and beach (though not very swim able due to rocks that we saw on low tide.) Pool is terrific. Service great a about a half hour grab ride into KK. Highly recommend for a laid back stay. We extended our original 2 day stay to 6. ”

“Great value room, very nicely laid out and modern. Only niggle was that the previous guest had smoked in the bathroom and the one evening I stayed, I could smell cigarettes in the corridor from another room. Not much the staff can do about idiots breaking the rules without knocking on every door, so not a fault of the hotel. Also, I stayed only one night so its probably not the norm. I would definitely recommend!”
