“We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Maison du Bonheur. We couldn't fault the beautiful property and surroundings. The pool was perfect for the hot weather we experienced. Cathy and her family were great, generous hosts. Getting a tour of their bee hives was a particular highlight! Overall, would highly recommend”

“The perfect place for an extended family holiday. My husband, our three children and their families, 14 of us in total, have just spent a wonderful holiday at lLe Hameau. The area is fantastic for exploring the Dordogne but above all the accommodation and the setting are perfect for a large group holiday. The three houses are very well equipped, comfortable and provide space and privacy but the communal dining and kitchen areas in the Red Gite allow for the entire group to eat and socialise...

“A truly lovely property which was perfect for our family holiday. There is plenty of space for our family with teens having their own bathrooms and bedrooms. “Good rental and position. We parked in front of the house ( and not to the right hand side as instructed) but even just backing out the car was a tricky business. It would perhaps be helpful for future guests if there was a fence or rope to restrict access. The neighbours were helpful in pushing our car!”

“The owner was nice but the accommodation was not clean enough and offered no privacy - with the large windows looking on to the owners house and compound where the their American Pit Bull Terrier has free range. Three nights booked but we arrived late and left early the next day.”

“Propreté. Calme. Idéal pour 2 personnes. Seul petit bémol, les marches pour accéder aux différents niveaux. Dépôt de pain à 400 m. Commerces à Thénon 5 kms et Terrasson 11 kms. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.”

“La maison a parfaitement correspondu à nos besoins à savoir séjourner à 9 adultes pendant 2 jours pour un mariage .Le fait qu’il n’y ait qu’une seule douche et un seul WC à un peu compliqué notre séjour.La literie est impeccable. Les environs sont calmes.”

"Es un hotel ubicado en un sitio precioso, cerca de la autopista y con alternativas para comer. Pero nec sita una reforma urgente, por ejemplo en nuestra habitación había un balcón que en algún momento se rompió la ventana y lo han solucionado tapándolo poniendo una madera, parece un armario en vez de un balcón. La ducha necesita más limpieza."

"Habitacion que no corresponde a 4*. Sin aire acondicionado , suelo de gravilla suelta en el patio , difícil para arrastrar maletas. El baño somero con una ducha de hostal . No hay nevera . Las habitaciones no estan en el propio castillo sino en un edificio sin gracia , anexo."
