“We enjoyed the quiet, wooded setting. The cabin is new and nicely appointed. We enjoyed visiting the Almanzo Wilder farm, hiking, and visiting Saranac Lake and the Eisenhower Lock on the St. Lawrence River. Plenty to do, but the cabin is also nice for relaxing. The firepit was great also.”

“The Pine Tree Retreat at ADK Getaway was just absolutelty perfect. The cottage was Immaculate, very comfortable and had every amenity you could possibly need. Beth and Chris were by far the best hosts we ever had. They were very kind and concerned about our comfort. We had a wonderful and restful vacation at the Pine Tree Retreat. We cannot thank Beth and Chris enough. We highly recommend ADK Getaway. We will be coming back.”

There is plenty of items that you will need for a property like this that they have provided… Very thoughtful. The only real negative to the property is that it’s pretty dated but very comfortable. “The lake is gorgeous and the location was perfect -- secluded and private but also convenient to town. We were very comfortable at the cabin (even when it got down to 40 degrees one night) and would certainly go back. During our stay especially enjoyed the walking trail in the woods where the house is located, kayaking and swimming in the lake, and hearing the calls of loons in the evenings. ”
