“I booked the hotel because it was close to where I wanted to be. I was surprised positively because there is little information about this hotel from local sources. That may be the reason why there were very few guests. The room I was given was not only spacious with beautiful view of the city on the side of stadium, but also was very clean and very quite. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The manager was responsive to requests I made. The house keeping staff responded in minutes...

“The hotel's location was great, as it sits atop a hill overlooking the city of Gondar. It does make for quite a walk into the city itself. If you are not up for walking, there's usually a tuk tuk hanging out outside, or you can have the hotel call a taxi. It's convenient to eat at the hotel, especially during the fasting time, however their food was palatable but not the greatest. The staff was friendly though, and there's a great souvenir shop located outside of the hotel as well. Besides...

“It is a very beautiful and quiet place. The rooms are huge and very clean. Beautiful terrace. But the best of all, the staff, expecially the one of the restaurant. I went for Simien for three days and my mother, which doesn't speak English, stayed at the hotel. All the staff took care of her like family! Also the manager, Miracle, was awesome!! Thank you so much! ”

“The only good thing of that hotel is Moges, the man in the reception. Very helpfull. thank you for your advices and helping me to book another hotel by phone. But I would never go back to that hotel. No internet in the rooms -though they say they have. No shuttle bus to the airport. And all the inconveniences you can imagine.”

It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. “Fasil, the manager, sent the hotel shuttle to pick us up at the airport. The hotel was modern but with marble floors and high ceilings to keep it cool. It had a great restaurant especially for breakfast which was included. It had a terrace which was obviously a favorite gathering spot for locals as well as guests. Overall the service was great and the rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable.”
