“The hotel's location was great, as it sits atop a hill overlooking the city of Gondar. It does make for quite a walk into the city itself. If you are not up for walking, there's usually a tuk tuk hanging out outside, or you can have the hotel call a taxi. It's convenient to eat at the hotel, especially during the fasting time, however their food was palatable but not the greatest. “The only good thing of that hotel is Moges, the man in the reception. Very helpfull. thank you for your advices and helping me to book another hotel by phone. But I would never go back to that hotel. No internet in the rooms -though they say they have. No shuttle bus to the airport. And all the inconveniences you can imagine.”

“It is a very beautiful and quiet place. The rooms are huge and very clean. Beautiful terrace. But the best of all, the staff, expecially the one of the restaurant. I went for Simien for three days and my mother, which doesn't speak English, stayed at the hotel. All the staff took care of her like family! Also the manager, Miracle, was awesome!! “Contrary to some of the review I'd read the hotel was lovely. I had room 10 and, whereas it was a bit basic and old fashioned, it was very clean and no fleas/bedbugs in sight. I had my own bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Nice courtyard, too.”

Después de 3 días aún no encontraban nuestra reserva y nos tuvieron una hora esperando en el check out hasta que conseguimos resolver el entuerto.
