“My cousin and I found the guest house beautiful, as well as color coordinated throughout. It was very comfortable and clean with fresh sheets. Large tv’s in both the den — that the kitchen opened into — and bedroom. The king bed was very comfortable, something that was a bonus since I don’t always find beds that way! The bathroom was large, with a washer and dryer. It was well appointed and included a walk-in shower. There was a covered patio with table and chairs just a few feet from the door...

“The only thing I would add to make this experience better would be lamps in the bedrooms. Some smaller coffee cups in the kitchen. Bedroom with the window unit stayed really cool. The rest of the house was a little warm. We enjoyed our stay. It was very close to the lake end where we enjoyed camping, boating and fishing with friends”

“Had such a wonderful stay at Chateau Royal! I am from New Iberia, but we have outgrown our family home, so in recent years have needed to find alternative places to stay. This is our new favorite place. It was clean and well stocked. Within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, shopping, City Park. Great view of Bayou Teche from back deck. Plenty of room for family to visit. Mickey made sure we had everything we needed. We needed extra space, and booked Bayou Chateau next door last...
