“We loved staying here. Originally our plan was to explore the area but we loved the house so much, how comfortable it was, how beautiful, that we found it hard to actually motivate to leave. The kitchen has everything you could want and we enjoyed the hot tub, the state of the art speakers, the multiple board games , the large tvs, the books and the arcade games. It sent us to a totally different property in an entirely different location of the property we rented. We searched and searched from around 5:30 in the afternoon until about 7:30 but to no avail. “We really enjoyed totally this Candlewood lake house. it has a fantastic view and a large, beautiful lawn with a fire pit. The owner was a pleasure to work with and she even allowed us to check in a few hours early.The house is fully stocked with everything we needed. The views are fabulous, but if you bring your own boat, the property is at the tip of the lake and the water can be a little rough from other boats going by. ”

There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.”

“We camped at Freedom Farm and enjoyed the secluded woods setting for our tent. Everything was clean and well prepared for our stay, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is beautifully situated and is a short drive from some excellent hiking and biking in nearby state parks. I think a couple of things, though, could be improved. The tent was set up on an incline, which made sleeping a bit less comfortable than it might have been. I would recommend that the hosts build a level platform...
