“Great find in Watkins Glen! Newly renovated with classic charm. The rooms are nicely decorated and cozy. It’s a quiet area with all rooms viewing Seneca lake. We didn’t get a chance to try the bar or restaurant, but it looked like a nice spot. 5 minute drive to local restaurants and Watkins Glen State Park. Decent prices everywhere, too. The only thing I didn’t appreciate is that not every room comes with a balcony. Apparently they are only available upon request, which Expedia did not disclose....

“We had a short, comfortable stay. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and firm, and the location was quiet. The Anchor Inn provided an inexpensive alternative to staying in the Watkins Glen area, and was only a couple minutes from downtown. We'd definitely stay here again.”

“They served fresh fruit at breakfast honestly that was the only thing good offered the French toast they served was awful worst I’ve ever had and the sausage looked like 2 hard black hockey pucks , I’ve stayed at many B&B’s and the breakfast was always off the charts amazing , but this was really really bad , other than that it was a comfortable , clean stay and location was great ”
