Outstanding place. Extremely clean and had great kitchen dishes, Tupperware, utensils, etc. Near the best restaurants and downtown (we walked everywhere). Easy free parking, would definitely stay again.

My husband made arrangements for me, my sister, and 2 daughters to belatedly celebrate my 70th birthday at the Lumber Baron’s Brush Park Mansion. Our stay was perfect! The home is beautifully appointed and a short walk to Little Caesar’s Arena where we took in a concert. The area between the Mansion and the arena was clean and felt very safe. I highly recommend this VRBO rental for anyone spending some time in Detroit! You won’t be disappointed.Deb

The home/apartment was wonderful, artfully decorated, comfy, conveniently located in the city near many restaurants, and was well equipped with the comforts of home. I would definitely rent here again. The only thing to note is that is a two-story apartment inside a very large historical mansion so you can hear folks walking on your floor above you or in the hallway as they enter the building. This did not bother us but something to be aware of when renting. The parking was convenient at the rear of the house. Enjoy.

We have stayed here on many occasions for baseball games or concerts, as always host was extremely easy to work with and the accommodations are excellent as well! We live it here and will definitely be back again.

Perfect spot in The District

The property exceeded our expectations in several areas - location was outstanding for events at LCA and Ford Field, property was wonderfully appointed and very spacious. We wish we had more time to spend there and will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location and stay

I was very impressed by my stay here. This was a very central location where you can go anywhere from downtown to midtown no problem. Place was clean and very accommodating for my guests. Definitely would recommend staying here!

LOCATION!

The location was awesome! Walking distance to almost everything. Lots of shops and restaurants to walk to and we were able to walk to the Redwings game as well. There was a parking spot for us and the building is safely secure. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and quiet neighborhood

This place is well thought out, mindfully decorated, aesthetically pleasing, and welcoming. Considering the other rentals and hotels in the area in terms of cost, this place was financially comparable and in my opinion more for the money than surrounding rentals. We had a very positive experience.
