Felt like they were short of staff as no one came when we needed them. The buffet was not well managed as well- short of dining plates, tables were not clean- we had to eat on a dirty table, and some guests had breakfast in the gallery adjoining the restaurant. “A fabulous mountain retreat set between forests and tea gardens. Beautifully maintained lawns with great vistas. Loved our stay. However due to road washouts from 2018 floods, almost impossible to get to. A miracle we found our way. But well worth the journey!”

“This place was just ok for a hotel in India. It’s so far up a mountain that access to outside food and drivers are slim, so you are at the hotel’s mercy for pretty much anything. The balcony was nice and so was the view. No ac in this hotel, and no mosquito nets. There was a really old plug in fan in the room though and it didn’t really fit well with the rest of the room.
