“This was a relaxing get away in an area that we had not experienced before. Loved the creek and fire pit and our visit to Wayah Bald. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. Trimming of the hedges left and right of the drive might aid exiting the driveway less difficult and a mattress update in the second floor middle bedroom would be nice.”

“We come to Highlands on a very frequent basis, but this time we wanted to be in downtown in the middle of everything. The NEST was perfect in every detail. Every aspect was covered in this unit from welcome snacks and beverages to soft music playing on the Bose speakers. It was perfect and better than anticipated. Even the Highland's Tavern folks downstairs went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Once we parked our cars we were able to walk to every restaurant and shop we wanted to visit...

“The property was as advertised- a tiny home. Our first experience staying in one. It was clean, easy to find. The only negative was it faces west. In afternoon it was very warm outside and we didn't have many options to sit inside. While we were out that time of day, it was fine. The owners were friendly, recommending activites and places to eat. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. Really loved exploring the area. The bed was comfy, A/C worked great. All in all, we were pleased.”

The house was big enough for all of us to have our separate rooms and big enough so we were not all on top of each other. “The property is conveniently located a very short distance from downtown Clayton. There are plenty of dining choices to choose from, representing multi-cultural cuisines. If you prefer to prepare your own meals, the kitchen has a large array of cookware and utensils to accomplish the task. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, listening to the birds and the scenic mountain view.”
