“The location is very conveniently located near the town, walking distance to a supermarket, but because of the vegetation surrounding the back yard it has the feel of being isolated. The deck and pool are nice for cooling off after the day of activities but we also really enjoyed using the sitting area in the breezeway between the driveway and the house. Protected from the sun and a slight breeze made it very comfortable even when it was mid-90s outside. Terry is a great host and even arranged...

“This house was perfect. It's one of the cleanest houses we've ever had the pleasure of staying at and the setting was beautiful. The hosts clearly care for this home. Highlights: breakfast on the deck with the sunrise, toucans in the trees, multiple hammocks for relaxing, a nice path to the end of the property, amazing view, and cool breezes at night. Open up the wall of glass doors and the windows and it was extremely pleasant. The house is spacious and our family of four was very comfortable....

“What a cute place! We were a mixed group of ages traveling with 9 people total. The house was exactly as advertised. In a quiet neighborhood and 1 min walk to Cahal Pech and 8 minute drive to Xunantich ruins. Lots of little restaurants around and gas and groceries right down the road. The host was fabulous! Thank you Nelly.”

“Mr Paula was very friendly and if I had a question she as quick to respond and helpful. The property is beautiful and peaceful to watch the sun rise & set. Will definitely book with her again.”

“Our stay at Howler House was just as we imagined it could be. The hosts were absolutely amazing and quick with responses. Shanna picked us up from the water taxi, arranged our excursions, and was so helpful with any questions we had about the area. Kenny was there daily cleaning the pool or the yard. They both were so easy to talk to and really enjoyed spending time with them. The monkeys were all around and there was 2 babies that were very curious and came quite close. A wonderful...

“We had a wonderful stay in San Ignacio at the Babette House. The house and the grounds were beautiful and clean and had all the amenities except access to washer and dryer. Plenty of room for a group of 9. House had everything we needed and what we ran out of we got at the market close by. Maybe needs more towels but not a big problem if you brought your own. Check in and out were easy ! Melly was always quick to answer our questions. The house is perfectly located near lots of shops and...

“Great place to stay! Road is a bit bumpy but you get used to it. The pool and slide kept the kids and adults entertained after a day of activities. Jay was quick to respond with any questions. If you rent a car don’t go through Avis. Our car shut down twice on the road even though we gave them our pinned location. Neighbors on the road are all very friendly and helped us out both times. ”

“Cool space. Convenient location. Friendly and communicative host. Very unique property. Kids had fun with it. ”

“This is a great place to stay. It’s convenient and very comfortable. Our hostess was awesome. I’d come back.”

“This property was an unexpected gem. Convenient private and secure location. The property owner was easy to communicate with, very welcoming and did a good job making us feel at home a way from home. I was pleasantly surprised to find the cabinets fully equipped to make our stay easy and stress free. When I return I will definitely be booking here again.”

“Great property, central location, great host”

“The cabana was spotless, and Adam was very personable and helpful. I felt like I was moving into a jungle oasis. ”

“A+++ customer service”
