“This place is a gem in a great location, plenty of room and beds for a large group. Having two bathrooms is helpful, but only one shower makes for scheduling your time a necessity. Great AC, hot water, safe for walking to the grocery store or enjoying activities in the city, Clear, friendly commutation with the host. Improvements- I would like to have had seating on the huge veranda or car port to enjoy the outdoors but it is more set up to spend time inside. “The house was great. The view has changed a bit since the photos were taken. A new structure was built Nextdoor. You definitely need a car if you’re going to stay here as it’s not really walkable. However everything is a short drive and if your intention is to drive into Guatemala for Tikal this is EXCELLENT. There are also Mayan ruins in the area including Cahal Pech which was fantastic. It’s an easy, quick exploration that’s fully open and beautiful. ”

“We enjoyed our stay a little outside of San Ignacio! The people who worked at the B&B were very kind and made sure we were taken care of. The pool and deck were beautiful and the room was nice. We did dinner there one night and it was good but we should have asked about pricing. They did seem to upcharge for the wine, which makes sense given the location but its something to keep in mind!”
