“The property was tastefully furnished which reflected its historical past. There was a spacious sitting room for use by guests and a kitchen equipped for the heating and simple cooking of meals. “What a fantastic find this place was! We had such a lovely stay and the breakfast was just perfection (compliments to the chef 💗). The only tiny thing we could find, at a real push, to improve on was just that the toilet in our room was a little wobbly. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone”

“This is a basically C19th Inn, although some of it might be older. The room was clean and bright, the en-suite shower the same. Tea/coffee and kettle &c provided in the room. Bed fairly comfortable. Two things that were not so good: there was no hot water from the hand basin tap - no water at all in fact - and this could not be rectified until after the weekend (I booked in Saturday afternoon). All Ok in the shower. I could not open either the bedroom window nor the bathroom one, both sash...

“Lovely hotel, just the room had no main light so it was a bit dark, also the shower was nice apart for the temperature control, it was either cold or hot just couldn’t get a happy medium. Breakfast the next morning was really good.”
