“Bird Island has been a dream vacation for us for a long time. And after years of looking at pictures and reading reviews online, it was almost surreal to step foot on the island for the first time. "I can't believe we're really here" went through my mind several times throughout the week. The entire experience was amazing! The logistics were smooth, from meetup to shopping to transportation - Leo handled it all in a professional and friendly manner. Fred and Ruth were there to welcome us upon...

“ The apartment that I selected online was nothing like the apartment I was given. There were only two windows, both in the living room. There were no windows in the bedroom or the bathroom. The lighting throughout the entire apartment was very dim.The shower was very small, the mirror above the sink was way too high for a 5‘5“ person. The living room/kitchen was very small, there was no TV in the living room only in the bedroom. The very small kitchen table was not level. We had to put something...

“Once I got there, I enjoyed my stay. However there was no contact from anyone prior to my arrival and I was literally at the airport in Belize concerned I didn't have a place to stay because of zero communication. That was extremely stressful and frustrating. The grounds are pretty, the staff was amazing, and the space was comfortable, safe and quiet. But communication was non existent until I got VRBO involved and even they had trouble reaching anyone. 3 messages were sent prior to my arrival...

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an excellent stay at MeMe's Place! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and everything we needed in Placencia. The accommodation had everything necessary for a relaxing stay, including good Wi-Fi and a welcoming atmosphere. Communication with the host was helpful, and we appreciated having a comfortable place to return to after our daily activities. We travelled as a family, and...

“We had a lovely three night stay at the Tiki Tucán. The hosts were very nice and the suite was very cute and clean, with everything we needed. The pool was right outside the door, and we were able to walk to dinner at the bar and grill close by. Highly recommend!”

“We were fortunate to stay at Vaiana for the month of April. What a wonderful location. We loved being a bit remote, but within 20 minute drive too many restaurants and shops if needed because we had a rental car. This location would be tough without a car. The entire 2nd story of the house is Vaiana. It has two sides with the patio/porch in between. The 2 bedrooms with adjoining jack and Jill bathroom are in one octagonal billing. Then you walk outside across the porch to get to the great room...

“The property is in the heart of Placencia Village. Just a short walk to anything you need; food, drinks, grocery store. We enjoyed all the amenities and the use of the laundry facilities. We'd stay here again.”

“Excellent location, clean and spacious, the pool was very clean and nice. In unit laundry and a kitchen with everything you need is a great perk!”
