good hotel but need more amenities

good room big but no balcony checi inn perfect but big problem with the shower not cold water must of the time I took the shower with hot water they try to fix but was the same old the time . not restaurant on the premises not cofffe shop I think they need some more improvement and them will be excellent good aerea good air conditionar but in old the hotels of this chain this one need some attention . I was in the others ones from the same chain beautiful hotels the general concierge of this chain abdulah a gentleman in general 4 points

It is a big NO from me

Al Najada Boutique Hotel had received some good reviews online and breaking away from routine with the big chain hotels I decided to go with a boutique hotel in the Souq. I was expecting the area to be loud, busy and a real feel of Doha. Well the above expectations were met except for the hotel not being open for business on arrival. option. We were told to go to a sister hotel. Area is crowded busy and our driver had no clue where to go. So naturally the best option was to relocate to a big chain hotel. So this hotel should not advertise online under this name "Al Najada Boutique Hotel" since it is closed down. Honesty and full transparency will help for the Soug Waqif Boutique Hotels. Also since taxi drivers have no clue where the hotels are in the Souq, Hire the driver service from your hotel in Doha so hotel drivers pick you up from the airport. This option will at least this will bring clients to the door directly drama free. My advise stay at a larger hotel as they are more organized. Special thanks to Hotels.com staff for sorting me out after this drama. They were very helpful :)

Very comfortable and cozy place accessible to Souq

Only problem is getting a taxi is hard. Waited 30 min and we finally have to walk to th other end to get it. Staff responsible for taxi is not helpful. Especially when you are on a short trip and time is precious. Ayman front desk was helpful and the rest of the staff. No bellboy to help with bags weird for a 5 star hotel.

فندق موقعه في نهاية سوق واقف ممتاز و نظيف الانترنت في الدور الثاني بطئ جدا مواقف السيارات مجانية للنزلاء الفطور 49 ريال لطبق محدد او 79 ريال بإضافة اصناف اخرى شخصيا مطاعم سوق واقف خيار انسب بكثير تصميم البوتيك غير احترافي مساحات ضائعه في الاعياد بسبب زحمة السوق و المواقف السكن في فندق سوق واقف قرار حكيم جدا

The only thing I can say that was less than 100% was the wi-fi, where I had to move to the very cosy lobby lounge to do some work. Even the driver the hotel called in for taxi service was excellent.

Sehr schnuckliges Hotel mitten in der Altstadt.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mitten in der Altstadt in einem traditionellen Gebäude. Man hat das Gefühl nicht in einem Hotel sondern in einheimischen Häusern zu wohnen. Das Ambiente war sehr modern und doch sehr ortsgebunden. Das Personal war sehr gut. Nett und und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel war eines der ältesten von 7 Hotels in der Altstadt, welches zur selben Gruppe gehören. Aber so modern wie es ausgestattet war hat man das nicht gespürt. Ich habe endlich mein Hotel für den Aufenthalt in Doha gefunden.

Great Interior Design

At first entering the hotel lobby I was amazed at the interior. Style of the interior seemed like a traditional Arabic style house. The welcoming staff and service were all great, just like the other boutique hotels in the souk. Though all seemed great, I found that the circulation was a bit tricky. The path to the rooms were fun but had to find the way out when I tried to come out alone. When I had some free time I tried to take an adventure within the hotel and started walking around all the hallways and kinda got lost. Finally I was able to find my way back to my room, but thought if someone was arranged a room deep inside the hotel they would have a hard time coming out. Other than that, the rooms were clean with everything I needed and also nice welcoming treats kept my mouth happy. There was a waterfall feature in the atrium type area which some people could find a bit noisy from their rooms. Of course this water feature is turned off at late nights. Overall, the location is great to see the souk, rooms were clean and comfy for a well night sleep and fnally the breakfast was tasty with just the right amount I could take.If traveling with family and planning to stay within the souk, I would recommend this hotel as the kids would love the interior spaces provided from this hotel.
