“New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there.”

“This is a fantastic cottage, well equipped and the little extras count.Milk and bara brith perfect. Very comfortable bed. Really good shower.The little town is well stocked with shops and restaurants. A little hiccup with check in. Wrong safe box key number given. Luckily soon had conract with host to rectify.. did not spoil our weekend. ”
