If you want a break from the crowded touristy areas of Zanzibar; I highly recommend Treetop. Just be aware that off property it’s a distance to find restaurants or proper markets. But Treetop is so good for a quiet restful stay in Zanzibar. It’s also very close to Jozani Forest which is a major attraction for nature and wildlife ”

“We had the upstairs ocean view room which was quite large with a large covered deck on 2 sides. The front 2 walls facing the water were all glass with a fantastic ocean view from the room or the deck.
