Tradicional casa de campo de 150 años

Una cómoda casa de campo aislada 2 habitaciones con jardín cerrado le espera en el corazón de la Irlanda del Oeste - a sólo 20 minutos del aeropuerto de Knock. Situado bajo las montañas de buey y una unidad de 5 min de Tubbercurry, se encuentra un agujero de perno tranquila con 2 dormitorios (1 cama doble y 1 litera y 1 + 1 cama de invitados). El salón tiene un lugar tradicional de piedra de fuego y hay una cocina muy grande totalmente amueblado que lleva en el jardín. Hay un pequeño cuarto de baño y aseo y lavadero.
La ubicación es perfecta para un descanso y es de fácil acceso del río Moy para la pesca, Ballina, playas surfistas de Easkey y Inishcrone. La forma salvaje del Atlántico está en la puerta, que es perfecto para los ciclistas. Está a 20 minutos en coche a la ciudad de Sligo, que tiene un teatro, el cine y los sitios de interés histórico. ¡Más allá de eso, estás en el maravilloso país de Yeates y es un paisaje impresionante!

La ubicación es apartada y muy tranquila. El jardín, espectacular y la casa original y con encanto. Hemos pasado unos días estupendos por las cercanías y un poco más lejos (Slieve League, Donegal, Irlanda del Norte. Sin duda repetiríamos. Muy económica.

Cream cottage is comfortable and equipped with everything required for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, in a beautiful area, with a wonderful view of Knocknashee- the Hill of the Faeries. We were able to visit so many places during our stay. So much to see and do throughout the county, whatever you’d interest. Returning to the cottage each evening was lovely, sara was very responsive to any queries before and during our stay.

The location and accommodations are wonderful but the pdf instructions from the owner appear to be out-dated and a little confusing. The directions state that guests need to replace wood or peat used for the tiny stove in the living room - but there were no instructions on where to obtain the replacement fuel. It also seemed unreasonable to ask guests to take their garbage away with them (not just place in a bin outside, but take it away from the premises), and to check the electric meter upon arrival and departure so as to pay for the electricity used. Those sorts of services should just be included in the overall price of the stay in my opinion. Despite those slight confusions, we enjoyed our stay in the cottage and found the wildlife (birds and a fox) enchanting. The nights were extremely peaceful and the surroundings picturesque!

This was a lovely, memorable stay for our family. The cottage was very comfortable and warm. Good sofa and good beds and a nice kitchen. It is beside a dairy farm but it is very quiet and our wee one loved seeing the cows. Ideal for anyone looking for beautiful views and peace and quiet.

This cottage was absolutely perfect! Cozy and clean. A well equipped kitchen. We made several day trips to Sligo, the Aran Islands, and most of the Wild Atlantic Way. Yes, it was a drive…but this cottage was so comfy to come back to each night!

L’endroit est un excellant havre de paix. Nous aurions apprécier avoir au minimum le wifi pour planifier nos activités à l’avance. Pas sûr que de faire faire le ménage par lés visiteurs est une option intéressante

On arrival at the cottage it looked very tired compared to the pictures. The gate was all rusted, flacking paint on the front door, the gate was hanging off in parts and a large amount of weeds to the front. However, On entering the property it was lovely. Clean spacious and everything we needed for a few days. Kitchen well equipped and a good shower. The bedrooms a great size and ideal for a larger family too. Bed comfortable. The back garden really needed to be tended to as the weed theme continued to the back and an over grown garden. Whilst this was not a problem for us as we spent little time at the property, it could be for others especially if a family with kids and if a longer stay and more suitable garden furniture would be better ( chairs a little to low, but this is my personal preference). On balance we did enjoy the cottage it just needs a bit of TLC to the front and back and yes I would recommend it to others if you wish to stay in a ‘get a way from it all’ area. Lovely and peaceful and some nice views to the back. Good value for money.

Quintessential, lovely Irish cottage is set among green pastures and mountain views. Loved the combination of traditional charm and modern convenience in the cottage, which was very clean and thoughtfully equipped. Back garden has a variety beautiful interesting fauna and is so pretty and private. Sara is an amazing host--clear directions and instructions as well as great recommendations for local restaurants, sights, and music. Sara also went above and beyond to arrange the return of a bag we left behind. If you are looking for a quiet, restful space in a beautiful part of Ireland, stay at this cottage--you will love it!

Die Umgebung ist super. Die Kinder waren über die Kühe begeistert, die manchmal direkt hinterm Haus stehen. Leider viele Stock und Schimmelflecken im Haus. Das Bad eher eine Zumutung. Sorry.

We had a lovely Staycation at this property. The area was quiet and we could relax. It was close to all the amenities. We loved the Knocknarea walk and the Benbulben Forest Walk. We had a great communicaton with the owner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cute and cosy cottage which was still spacious enough to accommodate my wife, myself and our four sons. Well situated for trips to the coast (we visited Standhill, Ross Strand and Mullaghmore) there is also much to explore if the weather is not so good e.g. National Museum of Country Life, King House and one of our favourites the seaweed baths at Inishcrone. We also drove out to Westport which needs no superlatives from and even as far as Blacksod in the Belmullet peninsula. All in all, a great time, many thanks to Sara for what is a very good value holiday home.

My sister and I had an enjoyable few days in this pleasant cottage. The kitchen diner was light and bright and overlooked the large garden. The bedrooms were both a good size and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small but adequate and the shower worked well. Overall, the cottage was warm and comfortable and suited us well. The owner was helpful and friendly and responded quickly when contacted.

Directions were comprehensive and made the cottage easy to find. The accommodation was generally well equipped and it was lovely to have the opportunity to experience one of those cottages we often pass and wonder what they are like inside! Information from Sara was very useful including letting us know of the local fair whilst we were staying. Overall an excellent stay in cosy accommodation.
