“The home was very clean. The kitchen had all the cookware and extras that we could have needed. No limitation on cook tools, utensils, bedding. The bed was a nice firm bed. The back yard was very pretty, the Peonies were in bloom. Thanks to the fence it was a great place for our dogs to run around in. As in all lush environments around water, there were a few sprigs of poison ivy on the fence line and the wood pile, but they were easily covered with a piece of firewood.”

“If I could do do three and half stars, I would. We stayed a week and the things we found were lacking were things like no linens in the kitchen (dish towels, pot holders,...), only a partial roll of paper towels and TP in the place when we arrived, no extra trash bags,... “Man, what can I say? This place was so great. The river that runs behind it is such a great sound to fall asleep to. The apt was immaculately clean. Comfortable beds, the towels were big and lush. Nice hot water. Everything you could need was there. Walking distance to several cool places and food. You have to try the pizza at The Back of the Dragon Brewery. Beth is nothing short of amazing. I will definitely say here again. It was just a great experience all the way around.”

Tazwell is a small town but has a couple of good restaurants within walking distance which was great. The room was very clean and well appointent amenities. Once people find out about this hidden gem, this place will be booked out years in advance.
