And the owner was in contact with us regarding our needs for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this property.”

My 6 ft 4 sons found the low bedroom ceilings challenging. However we were aware of this before we rented the property. Would not hesitate to recommend for a peaceful retreat. “We had an amazing stay at the Old Wharf Cottage in Windsor. The home is amazing and a wonderful location. We loved having the pool, bbq and area for croquet. It was easy to get around town with our rental car or Uber. The hosts were great and easy to connect with as needed. This was one of the key highlights of our two weeks in the UK. The rear of the property had picnic tables available in a good garden , plus access to a grass field where we and our grand children could play games. The downside of the location was the busy main road in front of the property - a hazard for small children. “This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep.”

“A wonderful tucked away cottage. It has a lovely little garden where my daughter was able to work with the sound of birds to keep her company. We particularly like character cottages and you couldn't ask for more but at the same time modern and so comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and up to date. “Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. Was a bit cramped with a family, but had easy access to Windsor. We utilized the kitchen to cook which was a nice amenity. We also packed light, so the washer was utilized as well. It was advertised that there was a dryer as well, but we could not see a way to dry the clothes and found it was just a washer, not a washer/dryer combo. There were no directions or contact info in the book, which would have been helpful. It was a great stay overall...
