“Second time to stay at The Gathering!!Highly recommend!”

“House was clean but the smell from the cleaning supplies was over powering. Several of the plugs need replacing. The power cords would not stay in. Host was very communicative. Hot tub was nice and its location was super cool. Close enough to the downtown area but not really within walking distance. ”

“The location was convenient, either to walk or take the car to places outside of the city. We liked the cleanliness and I was confident that I could contact the host if we needed anything.”

“Great accommodations, super comfortable and intimate. We would stay here again. A couple ideas for the host to consider. Light string outside washed into the house, illuminating the inside, through the stained glass window. Inside the TV has a “night light” at the bottom that also lit up the room. A timer on the outside lights would help, if there is one couldn’t tell. Not sure what to do about the TV, electrical tape if you need it “blackout” dark in the room to sleep. No storage for clothing;...

“Needs window dark out shades in bedrooms. Hard to sleep at 6;00 am when the sun comes up. It would be nice to have removable cushions for the chairs on the front porch.”

“Flint River Cottage was a great property. It is a short drive to town but far enough away for privacy and seclusion. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch and watching the wildlife. We are already planning our next stay.”

“This was a very cute property! We were greeted by deer a few times during our stay. The home was clean, comfortable, and roomy. The host was responsive and provided great recommendations prior to our arrival.”
