“We loved staying here. It was very clean and it was nice to see that there was things that we usually have to bring such as laundry detergent, soaps and shampoos. That was a plus for us. The only thing we didnt care for was the haul from the road to the house with our luggage. We would definitely stay here again.”

“We didn't receive any check in information. I messaged the host the day of our stay and requested it. Upon arrival the entire house smelled strongly of mildew. It was incredibly pungent. When I pulled out the sofa bed for our son, it was covered in dead insects. The home did not appear clean.”

“cute place, thoughtfully designed, clean and well supplied. clear, prompt, communication. lovely blooming hydrangea tree in late July. enjoyed a full moon fire at the pit in the backyard (note: bring your own firewood). directly across from the Hawks Nest State Park lodge and restaurant where we had a good dinner and great views from a window table or from the outside outlook deck open to the public. close to New River Gorge National Park and local recreation. our stay was only one night, but...

“House was as described. It is located off Harper Road. In a great location for lots of activities. There are several choices for restaurants. There is a Kroger grocery store nearby. The house was clean. Nicely decorated. Has in room air conditioning for bedrooms and main room. There is a coffee maker. A few kitchen utensils if you want to cook. Neighborhood is quiet. We had a great stay for my mom’s high school class reunion at Lake Steven’s.”

“I have to say, this was one of the most well-stocked, and cleanest VRBOs we’ve been in. It is an older home, but I don’t think there was one speck of dirt to be seen anywhere! And there was soap, extra tp, bikes, hammocks, more than enough towels, plenty of everything for anything you might need in a pinch! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and it was so nice to have the hot tub to relax in after a full day of hiking and exploring. If we were to return to new river gorge, we would stay...

“Enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located close to everything!”

“Parking was a little tight with a large SUV and truck. Rooms were clean and tidy. Host was great, easy to reach out to and helped find things for us to do with little ones.”

“We had a great time staying here while exploring New River Gorge National Park. The house was spacious and the pool was great to come back to on a hot day!”

“Everything is great”
