Here, the sea is part of everyday life. Simply step out of the residence to reach Saint-Jean beach and enjoy a swim overlooking Douarnenez Bay. About a five-minute walk away, Sables Blancs beach and the Valdys thalassotherapy centre extend this break combining the ocean, wellbeing and relaxation. As the tides ebb and flow, the surf and the lapping of the waves serve as a constant reminder of the ocean’s proximity.

The studio is also an ideal base from which to explore Douarnenez, its bay and the iconic landscapes of the Breton coast all the way to the Pointe du Raz. Once you’ve parked your car in your private parking space, enjoy Douarnenez on foot: the seafront, shops, restaurants, markets and the port of Tréboul are all within easy reach. You can then simply set off again to discover Locronan, Quimper, Concarneau, Pointe du Raz, Audierne, the island of Sein, and the many treasures of Finistère.

Situated on the first floor of a quiet block of flats (no lift), the studio comprises:

Shared outdoor area:
At the rear of the residence, a south-facing communal walkway leads to the flats. A folding table and folding chairs are available for you to enjoy breakfast in the sun, share a meal or simply relax outdoors.

A locked cycle shed is also available in the residential complex for the secure storage of your bicycles.

– Quimper railway station: approximately 35 minutes by car.
– Brest-Bretagne Airport: approximately 1 hour by car.
– A BreizhGo bus stop, serving routes including Quimper to Douarnenez, is just a few minutes’ walk away.
