Nice small cottage between several lakes

This cottage was "as advertised". Small but perfect for 2 people. While not located on the water it was within walking distance of 3 of the lakes. Also, walking distance to an ice cream shop, bar/ restaurant and a brewery. Comes with access to a dock. We also enjoyed the fire pit one night.

Quick get away

The cottage was just as described. Clean and quiet. Rental of kayaks and/or canoe is a plus. Cottage is right down the street for Dan’s Dockside bar and grill and Driftwood. Will come again.

We had a very pleasant stay. For the most part we were very happy and content with this cottage. There were a few small glitches that keeps me from giving our stay 5 stars. When we arrived the code for the door did not work. After contacting the host, we found that the battery was dead and needed to be changed. There was a person on the property and we were able to get this fixed. We had to go out and buy a few things that I felt should have been provided. There was a subtle odor in the cottage when we walked in and not sure if it was cigarette smoke. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were adequate. There was plenty of coffee for the Keurig and the refrigerator was nice and cold. The grounds were immaculate and well tended. We enjoyed having a picnic table and chairs on the patio to enjoy the nice weather. Internet reception was good. We did find a couple of yellowjackets in the cottage and I was concerned since I am allergic to them. We did not see any obvious nests around the building. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Clean and cozy

The cabin was super cute and very clean. Checkin was super easy. Great communication with the host. They even had a gallon of water for us in the fridge and some bottles bedside on the nightstand which was such a nice extra touch. We had some friends staying in a few of the other cabins. It’s a great place to go with friends and all be together, but still have your own private space. Loved it! Will definitely consider renting again.

We have been looking for a place for week or weekend getaways. So, we tried this place out. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time. Clean, quiet and perfect for couples and families.

Cute place but strict rules and needs some work

Overall this was a cute and comfortable place to stay. But a few things. There was only one burner on the stove that worked which made cooking hard. We had to clean all the dishes before using them because they were dirty. All the surfaces were sticky, probably from too much disinfectant and dust. There aren’t enough counter spaces. Maybe adding a coffee table and another shelf in the bathroom next to the shower would be nice. There is only one small mirror in the whole place which makes getting ready for 2 people very hard. We ran out of toilet paper so we had to buy our own at the end. The air conditioner and fridge are very loud especially at night. After booking for 2 people, the manager called me and asked for more money for the 2nd person. Turns out when we spoke to the other people staying there, the company did this for everyone else as well. Not cool. Also, other people staying said they got a contract (after paying and non refundable) saying there is no drinking and smoking inside or out. I don’t remember if I got one, but there are also a lot of cameras looking out onto the fire pit. I’m sorry but there should be nothing wrong with drinking and smoking by a fire pit especially if you are responsible and respectful to the property. And you should know the rules before giving money for a non refundable purchase.

We enjoyed the fishing but the pier is narrow. Canoes/ kayak available we didn't use. Grills nice, no stove inside only microwave and stove top. Take food to cook as stores and restaurants are far, close early, or not easy to spot for visitors. The only issue we had was we were unable to watch Tv in separate rooms because the remote controlled both TVs. It was not a big deal. Otherwise, very relaxing but two days went so fast.

100% Perfect

We were in cabin 6. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us, we loved that it was in walking distance to 3 lakes and Dockside Dan's bar. The area and set up of the cabins was super cute. I loved the set up with the shared firepit in the middle. We didn't bring wood for a fire but it would have been nice. We were there for wine tasting and there were so many options within a 30 minute drive. It was nice to sit out side for breakfast and coffee on the patio. We will be back with friends and utilize more of the cabins.

3rd Time Staying This Year

This place is honestly amazing! Perfect location for my needs. This was my 3rd time coming here this year (two separate cabins) and both were perfect! Roomy, cozy, quick communication with the property manager. Will for sure stay again!
